Regular Backwashing: Perform backwashing as needed to maintain efficient filtration. This process cleans the sand bed by reversing water flow, removing trapped debris.
Sand Replacement: Replace the filter media (silica sand) every 3–5 years, depending on usage and water quality. Use sand with particle sizes between 0.5–1.2 mm.
Winterizing: Before winter, drain all water from the filter using the large pressure sand/water drain to prevent freezing damage.
UV Protection: While the filter has a UV-resistant surface, consider additional shading in areas with intense sunlight to prolong its lifespan.
Routine Inspections: Regularly check for leaks, cracks, or wear on the tank, valves, and connections. Ensure all fittings are secure.
Operating Conditions: Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of 250 kPa (36 psi) or the maximum water temperature of 43°C (109°F).

Customers can return the PIKES Fiberglass Top Mount Sand Filter within 10 days of delivery under the following conditions:
In cases of physical damage, defects, or incorrect or missing items, a full refund or replacement will be provided if reported within 10 days of delivery.
For any other reason, the product is also eligible for a full refund if returned within the same 10-day period.
